The Yorkshire Rowing League: The Rules

Be a part of the new Yorkshire Rowing League, to decide which Yorkshire Club is the most successful at the Region's regattas. Here is a chance to shout about your Club's successes, the crews, coaches and volunteers who make the Region's regattas such a success.

How will it work?

Simple. Points will be awarded for:

  • Entering an event.
  • The number of people in the boat, including the cox.
  • The number of rounds won.
  • Winning the event.
  • The status of the event, including Junior & Masters events.

So everyone who enters a regatta will gain points for their club- the more rounds won, the higher the status, the more people in the boat, the more points.

How do you enter?

Don't worry, it's done for you. Kind volunteers send in the results. All the results will be collated to produce the regatta report and league table for all the world to see on the Region's website!
