-
The equipment remains the property of the Yorkshire Rowing Council.
-
Clubs may be lent the equipment for a specified period
of between 3 to 6 months.
-
Clubs must nominate an individual who will act as a
co-ordinator for the equipment between the Region and the Club. The
individual must have been trained in the maintenance and the safe, and
effective, usage of the equipment as a coaching aid. The Yorkshire Rowing Council will provide the training.
-
Clubs are responsible for the maintenance, security,
usage and safe operation of equipment.
-
Clubs must make good any damage to the equipment, which
cannot be attributed to normal wear and tear, or which occurs as a result
of fire or theft.
-
Clubs must ensure the equipment is used as a technical
aid for the improvement of rowing technique, and NOT as a general fitness
machine.
-
Clubs are not obliged to allow individuals from other
clubs to use the equipment.
-
Clubs must demonstrate at least 5 hours of effective
usage of the equipment per week, by keeping the activity log supplied by
the Yorkshire Rowing Council. The logbook must be presented
at each quarterly meeting of the Yorkshire Rowing Council.
-
The Yorkshire Rowing Council can recall
equipment at any time, generally for inspection and Regional training
days, but also for lack of effective use, and for misuse.
